Fletcher's Landing offers waterfront cabins located on the shores of a 9,000 acre fishing paradise that is Fletcher Pond. Whether it's the excitement of landing that trophy fish, hunting with trusted friends, or the quiet relaxation of a panoramic sunset, Northern Michigan and Fletcher's Landing has it all. Fletcher Pond, known to some as Fletcher's Floodings, began when the Alpena Power Co. built a dam across the Thunder Bay River and started flooding over 9,000 acres of marsh land in 1932. Today Fletcher Pond is loaded with stumps, weeds and heavy cover over the entire lake making it a perfect fish habitat. This same feature renders it unusable for jet skis and large power boats making it one of the most peaceful lakes to fish, canoe or kayak in Michigan.

Fletcher Pond is well known for its monster pike, bass, and the abundant perch and panfish. Six pound bass are caught yearly, with pike in the 30 inch class common. Abundant waterfowl also makes Fletcher Pond a special place. Duck and geese use the pond as a resting area on their migration route and it is the largest hatching ground for Osprey –creating a bird watching paradise. Meanwhile the Mackinac State Forest and other surrounding public lands hold many game birds for hunters. Whitetail rifle and bow hunters will find these same areas a great place to get that trophy buck.

Our accommodations consist of 11 waterfront cabins and duplexes that sleep three to five persons. Each features its own kitchen and private bathroom. Also included with your rental is one dock space, a campfire pit and picnic table. We offer a boat launch for those of you bringing your own boat or you can chose to rent from our boats and motors. Meanwhile our tackle shop sells live bait and many of the lake's hottest lures as well as other amenities to make your stay enjoyable.
